GREMIDA GROVE VINEYARD

A bare cow paddock was the starting point for a family vineyard. The overall layout of the vineyard was planned, the buildings designed, expansion possibilities allowed for & construction undertaken.

The initial shed was built to store machinery & work as accommodation. Then the second, larger shed was built to house the machinery, equipment & winery.

Finally the initial shed was converted to a house, with flowing curved ceilings, a large open plan layout for the living/dining/kitchen, 2 bedrooms & a bathroom. The vernacular of the tin shed was carried through the design, married with the heritage of the timber from the owners lifelong career as a joiner, all to create a unique. modern design that is full of light.
